Three friends originally from Castro Valley, CA, BRNR was formed in late-2000, with influences from Black Sabbath, Kyuss, Soundgarden, Jane's Addiction and others. The music has been called heavy, groove, jam and stoner rock, but whatever subgenre it falls into, BRNR has gained interest in the San Francisco Bay Area as one of the top up-and-coming local talents.
